Hibiscus is a camera and color app for iPhone. It is designed around local photo processing, user-chosen photographs, on-device editing, and exports created at the user’s request.

Photos and camera

You choose the photographs you import or capture. Hibiscus requests Camera access for Camera features and Photos access when needed to select or save images. Camera character processing, grading, Accent analysis, and export rendering are performed on your device.

Hibiscus does not operate an account system, social feed, user-content hosting service, or cloud photo library. Exported photos, Instant cards, Palette images, and LUT files are created only when you request them.

Information stored on your device

Hibiscus may store preferences such as language, Camera and Grade defaults, export preferences, and limited presentation state on your device. Temporary working files may be created during export. They are not an internal photo library.

Data retention and control

Hibiscus does not maintain a server-side account or user-data store. Preferences and other app-local data remain on your device. You can remove Hibiscus’s local app data by deleting the app. Camera and Photos permissions can be changed or revoked at any time in iOS Settings.

Lightweight remote content

Hibiscus may request a public static configuration file from 1234567890.dev. This file supplies non-core project-discovery information such as destination links, ordering, and icon-resource references.

This request is not required for Camera, Grade, or export processing. It does not include user photographs or edits, does not provide an account or cloud-storage backend, and does not attach user, device, advertising, or referral identifiers. Hibiscus does not use it as analytics or behavioral tracking.

As with any internet request, the hosting or CDN provider may process ordinary connection information, such as an IP address, as necessary to deliver and secure the request. Hibiscus caches the last valid configuration locally so its core functionality remains independent of the network.

External links and sharing

Hibiscus can open external destinations such as GitHub, the developer website, Discord, or other app pages when you choose them. Those destinations have their own privacy practices. When you use the iOS share sheet, the destination you select receives the content according to its own behavior and policies.

Analytics, advertising, and accounts

Hibiscus does not require an account and does not include third-party advertising or personalized advertising. It may display non-personalized links to other projects from the same developer. The app does not upload click history, photo-editing activity, or user profiles to Hibiscus.

Changes

This policy may be updated as Hibiscus changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
